Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Reddick Technologies, operating as Reddnology ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our applications ("Apps"), including PE1 Exam Pro, PE2 Exam Pro, PE3 Exam Pro, PE4 Exam Pro, FAT50 — Fit At 50, and RT Exam Pro.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (for sign-in and password recovery)
• A unique user identifier (UID) generated by Firebase Authentication

We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or any government identifiers. You may also use the App in guest mode without creating an account, in which case no email or UID is collected.

1.2 Study Progress & Activity Data

We collect data about your activity within the Apps, including:

• Quiz and exam scores (exam prep apps)
• Questions answered and accuracy rates (exam prep apps)
• Study session duration and frequency (exam prep apps)
• Workout activity, exercise logs, and fitness progress (FAT50)
• Topic-level performance metrics
• Streak and milestone progress
• Bookmarked questions and flashcard activity (exam prep apps)

This data is used to power adaptive difficulty, smart review, progress tracking, personalized workout recommendations, heatmaps, trend charts, and other personalized features within the Apps.

1.3 Device Information

We may collect basic device information including:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version number
• General device identifiers for analytics

1.4 Crash and Performance Data

We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to collect crash reports and performance metrics. This data helps us identify and fix bugs, improve app stability, and optimize performance. This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.

1.5 AI-Powered Feature Content (Pro subscribers only)

When you use AI Explain or Premium Voices, the following data is sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States) through our secure Cloud Function in order to generate an explanation or audio narration:

• The question text and multiple-choice options
• The correct answer
• Your selected answer (if applicable)
• The text you choose to play aloud (Premium Voices only)

What is NOT sent to OpenAI: your email address, your Firebase UID, your name, your subscription details, your study history, or any device identifiers. Question content is sent without anything that identifies you.

OpenAI processes this data solely to generate the requested explanation or audio and does not use it to train their models, per OpenAI's API data usage policy. OpenAI retains the data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deletion. Free users do not have access to AI Explain or Premium Voices, so no data is sent to OpenAI for free accounts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the App's study features
• Personalize your learning experience through adaptive algorithms
• Track your progress and generate performance analytics
• Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
• Respond to your support requests

3. Subscriptions and Payments

All subscription purchases and payments are handled entirely by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle your payment data.

4. Advertising and Tracking

Our Apps do not contain third-party advertising. We do not use advertising tracking technologies, sell your data to advertisers, or share your information with advertising networks.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Apps use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) — For account creation, sign-in, and password recovery. Stores your email address and a generated user ID. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Cloud Firestore (Google) — For backing up your study progress to the cloud so it syncs across your devices. Data is stored in Google's us-central1 region. Question content sent to OpenAI is not stored in Firestore.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google) — For anonymized usage analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
• OpenAI (United States) — Powers the AI Explain and Premium Voices features for Pro subscribers. See Section 1.5 above for what is sent and OpenAI's API data usage policy.
• Apple App Store — For app distribution and subscription management on iOS devices.
• Google Play Store — For app distribution and subscription management on Android devices.

6. International Data Transfers

Firebase services and OpenAI process data on servers located in the United States. If you are using our Apps from Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. US privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our Apps, you consent to this transfer.

7. Data Retention

Your study progress is stored locally on your device and, if you sign in to an account, synced to Cloud Firestore so you can access it across devices. We retain this data for as long as your account is active. Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 14 months in line with Firebase defaults. Question content sent to OpenAI is retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deleted.

If you delete the App, your local study data will be removed from your device. To delete your cloud-synced data and account entirely, email us at reddtech@reddnology.com from the address tied to your account.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the study data stored within the App
• Delete your local study data by uninstalling the App
• Request information about what data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated cloud-synced data
• Withdraw consent for AI Explain and Premium Voices by not using those features (free tier always works without sending data to OpenAI)
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca if you are a Canadian resident

10. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are designed for adult users pursuing professional certifications or personal fitness goals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at reddtech@reddnology.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
